In this week reading, it was all about the naturalization of Asians that come to the land of freedom, which is the United States of America to start up a new life, has been controlled by the government's laws and regulation that prevent them to race mixing as it was a non idealistic thing to do. The reading for this week which is The Historical Problematization of Mixed-Race by Thomas Teo that talked about how historical important figures use the race mixing idea that was problematic and they should not be encouraged. Thinking about today's problem, the president of the United States, Donald Trump, use the racism and colorism to make sure that society will always look down on mixed race and also the people of color. It is frustrating as he tried to use the historical mindset that was being used by Adolf Hitler that use the fear for the benefit to one particular group. Being a mixed race in the society that look at the colorism would make some of the people to feel excluded. However, thinking outside the box, the race mixing is not the problem, but the mentality of the people that see race mixing as a problem is the root cause of the problem.
