In Kip Fulbeck's photoessay "part asian-100% Hapa" she intends to give a discourse to the traditionally not talked about subsect of people of mixed Asian heritage. In the piece, she gives pictures of various people who consider themselves to be Hapa and attempts to exhibit the variety of people grouped under this banner. In her attempt to individualize these people she also groups them into a cohesive mass that can be analyzed together. Pictured below is another work by the artist, Kip Fullbeck, in this case, a brochure for her exhibit "hapa.me" that was exhibited at the Japanese American National Museum from April 7th to October 28th, 2018.
